Arrival from Faro airport<\/h4><\/div>

The closest airport in the Algarve is Faro, which is served by many airlines at low tariffs. This airport is only approx. 75 minutes away from our Casa May in Aljezur and is therefore ideal for your journey. We recommend afternoon flights for both outward and return journeys.
The distance from Faro Airport to Arrifana is around 110 km. From Faro take the A22 motorway towards Lisboa \/ Portimao until the end. Then continue on the main road to Aljezur - approx. 20 minutes. Shortly before Aljezur you come to a crossroads, where you turn left towards Vale da Telha. When you reach the hill, turn left. Follow the road through Vales. At the next junction keep to the right. You will then pass the Vale da Telha Hotel and come to a large roundabout.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

You drive south from the airport on the A2 Sul. At the end of the A2 joins the A22, just keep heading towards Lagos.
The toll in the city and on the motorway is around EUR 20 per route.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

When it comes to renting a car, there are a few things to consider. Almost all rental companies require proof of driver's license and be at least 21 years of age. In general, if you borrow longer - at least 1 week will get away cheaper. The prices for a week for a small car are between \u20ac 120 and \u20ac 170.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
